Electricity (Guyana Power & Light Inc). $53.78 per KWH. One month bill for two people worked out to $7415, which includes a fixed charge of $370.

Cooking gas (tank) = $3800 + 300 x 2 taxi fare to get the empty/full tank to the store and back.
