An abandoned hydro power station that was meant to supply electricity to Lethem. A landslide destroyed much of the pipeline carrying water from the mountains.

The generating turbines. All the valuable copper wires have been vandalized

The pipeline that once carried water to the hydro power station. The approximately 900 steps (mostly damaged by the landslide) beside the pipeline lead to Black Rock with a great view of the village and the savannas.

Breathtaking view on the way up

A climb up and down a steep slippery rock face using a rope for leverage is part of the adventure tour.
The wooden ladder was mostly broken at this time.
